Is the glass in your doors insulated?

Yes, the glass in our doors is insulated. All of our doors feature double-pane, insulated glass units.

Each insulated glass unit consists of two layers of glass separated by a sealed insulating space. This design significantly reduces heat transfer, helping to keep your home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. It also provides additional sound reduction compared to single-pane glass.

In addition to being insulated, the glass is also:

  • Low-E coated to reflect heat and harmful UV rays, improving energy performance and helping protect your interior furnishings from fading.
  • Tempered for safety, meaning it is much stronger than standard glass and, if broken, shatters into small, blunt pieces instead of sharp shards.

Whether you select clear glass, decorative textures, or privacy options, you can be confident that every door we offer includes high-performance insulated glass as part of its construction.

If you have additional questions about glass options, energy efficiency ratings, or customization, our team is here to assist you.
